Цветко Китанов, студент от V курс, украинска филология

На 24.05.2010г. за шести пореден път беше връчана стипендия от Фондация "Блага Димитрова" за постигнати успехи в областта на литературата. Награждаването беше проведено в Аулата на Софийски университет "Св. Климент Охридски" в присъствието на президента на Република България Георги Първанов, заместник кмета на София Минко Герджиков и Иван Сотиров, както и други политически фигури. Пред целия академичен съвет, както и пред ректора на университета беше награден Цветко Китанов, студент от V курс в СУ.

“STEP TO UKRAINE” VII INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OF UKRAINIAN STUDIES IN LVIV

We kindly invite everyone, who is interested in learning Ukrainian language


and culture to International Summer School of Ukrainian Studies “Step to Ukraine” 


which is to be held in Lviv. 


Summer School of Ukrainian Studies in Lviv is a perfect opportunity to learn 


Ukrainian language, develop your knowledge of Ukrainian culture, make new 


friends from different countries of the world and have lots of fun with them in a 


charming and unique city – Lviv. 


The school program covers the fallowing activities: 


1. Intensive course of Ukrainian as a foreign language (50 hours) 


The Ukrainian language course will cover three levels: A, B, C (according to


CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Participants 


will be devided into group levels according to the testing results. The test is to be 


held on the fist day of the school. 


The teachers use textbooks of Ukrainian as a foreign language that they have 


developed in MIOK: 


“KPOK-1” (“STEP 1”) - elementary-level textbook of Ukrainian as a foreign 


language (level A1 - A2); 


“KPOK-2” (“STEP 2”) – intermediate-level textbook of Ukrainian as a 


foreign language (level B1); 


“Mandrivka Ukrajinoju” (“The journey to Ukraine”) - a collection of reading 


comprehension texts with exercises about famous historical places of interest in 


Ukraine (level B2); 


“Hitchhiker’s Guide to Ukraine” - audio book with exercises (level C1).


2. Cultural extra-curriculum activities


Cultural extra-curriculum activities include educational excursions and quests, 


workshops on ethnology, watching Ukrainian movies, visiting theaters and 


museums, outreach trips and other exciting activities 


After completion of the Summer School participants will receive certificates 


of the International Institute for Education, Culture and Relations with the Diaspora.


Fee:


150 USD or 130 EUR, charged in cash on your arrival to MIOK.


The fee covers accommodation in double-rooms in a hostel of Lviv


Polytechnic national University, Ukrainian language course and extra curriculum 


activities, educational materials, basic excursions. The fee does not cover traveling 


and meal expenses.


Who can apply?


All language groups are encourages to participate in the Summer School 


despite their basic level of Ukrainian language. Persons under the age of 18 years 


are not allowed to apply.
